Turntable with Powered Dual Chain Conveyor

The AMS Turntable with Powered Dual Chain Conveyor can be used in a variety of applications, however, it is typically used in automated paint and stencil systems where stacks of 10 to 19 pallets are rotated while being either painted or stenciled. Once the process is completed the pallets are automatically moved on to the next station by Dual Chain Conveyor.

Triple-Function Stacker & Dispenser

The Triple-Function Pallet Stacker & Dispenser is a high speed, electric pallet stacker, destacker, and accumulator designed to integrate with automated lines. It will stack a pallet every 5 seconds. The Triple-Function Stacker & Dispenser is also a destacker and will accept an entire stack of pallets from powered infeed conveyor and dispense a single pallet every 6 seconds. In addition to being a stacker and destacker, the Triple-Function Stacker & Dispenser can also be used as an accumulator to moderate flow on an automated system stacking pallets when the line is full, letting pallets flow through when the line isn't backed up, and dispensing when needed.

Hilo Bumper Stops

The Hilo Bumper Stop is designed to protect your conveyor from the forks on lifts when removing pallets from out-feed conveyor. The stops fit around the frame of the conveyor and are set to a height of about 1 inch below the conveyor height. These bumpers will save in replacement cost of conveyor and legs from careless operators.

Our medium duty slider bed trash conveyor provides a versatile means of handling products of various sizes and shapes. This product includes weld on flat bars on both sides to keep product contained on the conveying surface. High-Speed Continuous-Flow Tipper Pallet Dispenser

This high-speed, continuous-flow tipper utilizes a concept of continuous motion which effectively eliminates reload time and increases productivity. It will dispense pallet stacks up to 20 high quickly and efficiently, and is excellent for feeding lead board removers, pallet dismantlers, and sort & repair systems.

Multiple Pallet Stacking Systems

The AMS Hydraulic High Speed Multiple Stacking System is capable of stacking from 2 to 4 pallet grades and can be customized to accommodate more grades dependent upon the application. The stacking system is designed for high production rates and comes with a remote operator console mounted on a podium for pallet grading with full jog functions in the main panel. Direct Modem Communication provides extra customer service for operation and performance upgrades. Touch screen diagnostics allows quick maintenance and troubleshooting solutions.

Strut System & Tool Balancers

Strut System

The strut system allows tools and balancers to be suspended directly above work areas to create an ergonomically friendly work environment. Solid struts held up by trolley beam supports provide a track for load trolleys to easily move tools throughout the work area and reducing fatigue on workers.

Tool Balancers

AMS offers heavy duty tool balancers that ergonomically help workers to stay on task and tire less quickly. The balancers allow the worker to move the suspended tool up or down with very little effort. Depending on the spring adjustment, the tool will remain in position or retract when no force is applied. With a spiral groove on a tapered drum, the winding radius is increased to match the torque buildup of the spring, thus neutralizing it and achieving a balanced condition.

P-2000 Pallet Repair Tool

The P-2000 is a heavy-duty, light weight, highly durable pallet tool specifically designed to remove damaged deck boards from pallets. It is made of case hardened steel and has a set of forks on one end and a curved chisel tip on the other end making it ideal for removing any board, nail, or wood stubble from a pallet.

Pop-N-Spin™ Work Table

Our Pop-N-Spin Work Table is perfect for dismantling and/or repair of pallets. The table is designed to easily spin giving builders the ability to nail directly in front of themselves at all times. The builder no longer has to reach across the table to nail the far side of the pallet. This increases productivity and greatly reduces the risk of injury.

The Standard Work Table

The Standard Work Table is a heavy-duty work table designed to withstand the harsh atmosphere of pallet repair facilities. This heavy gauge steel work station is one of the most rugged available and will last many years in even the most abusive atmospheres.

The Builders Table

The AMS heavy duty builders table is perfect for the dismantling and/or repair of pallets. These tables are ergonomically designed at 32” table height and a 6-1/2” pallet hold down angle. A uni-strut tool support system offers easy connection of 1 or 2 tool balancers for nail gun suspension and easy travel to eliminate lifting of the gun. A lower shelf and tool hooks are strategically located for ease of access to tools along with an air regulator for air tool connection. Options include an overhead light, tool balancer(s), shelf dividers, and electrical boxes with 480 and/or 110 volt plugs for ancillary equipment that might be used with the builders table.

Hydraulic Scissor Lift Table

AMS HLT heavy duty scissor lift tables are designed and constructed for heavy duty application under the toughest working conditions, offering years of trouble free operation. The HLT series tables are heavy duty welded construction with high speed electro hydraulics scissor lifts with capacities of 2,500 to 6,500 lbs. The scissor lift table comes with vertical travel distances of 24-48 inches with entrapped rollers along with safety striping and warning decals to meet OSHA requirements. The scissor leg rollers, both top and bottom are entrapped within the structure of the platform and base frame to ensure maximum unit stability on all four sides. This unit comes with a high pressure gear pump with check valve, relief valve, pressure compensated flow control valve, solenoid valve suction and return filters.

The Wood Cart

The Wood Cart is designed for use by two builders, each having access to wood from the cart on opposing sides. There are tool holders on each side of the cart for hammers and grinding wheels. The cart has heavy duty casters for ease in moving to and from the work stations.

Rack-N-Stack Wood Racks

Rack-N-Stack Wood Racks are highly durable all metal racks used for storing deck boards and stringers. They are made of heavy gauge steel to withstand the harsh atmosphere of pallet repair/manufacturing facilities. Rack-N-Stack Wood Racks are stackable up to 5 high, and can reduce wood storage by as much as 80%. The Brute Portable Grinder

The Brute is a heavy duty grinder with extra wide throat, large diameter shaft and bearings. The horizontal in-feed system features a 40 inch diameter, powered feed roll with dual hydraulic drives; the system allows batch loading of hard to grind material. The grinder itself is a heavy duty unit; it features a 34” x 56” rotor, 8” diameter shaft, replaceable tip rigid hammers, and automatic in-feed control for nonstop grinding. The Brute also is equipped with a fluid clutch with remote push button engagement for ‘soft start’ and shock overload protection. The out feed conveyor has a magnetic head pulley.

Cresswood Recycling Systems EF-60A

The Cresswood Recycling Systems EF-60A is a very large yet general purpose grinder with the added efficiency of a horizontal fed grinder. They are designed for pallet companies, large furniture manufacturers and other companies wishing to dispose of whole pallets, cants or slabs up to 7+” thick and 72” wide. They are also able to handle very long strips right off straight line rip or gang saws and can reduce skeletons from a router. Cresswood Recycling Systems HF-60-75AL

The Cresswood Recycling Systems HF-60-75AL Low RPM Grinder will reduce your pallet material to a 1 1/4” minus product, at a capacity of approx. 2,000-14,000 lbs per hour. The HF-60-75AL Grinder offers numerous processing advantages. Accumulated material can be batch-fed in the 4 cu yd hopper. A hydraulically driven ram crushes the material against a 16” dia. x 60” wide rotor with two row premium flat 1 1/4” inserts. Operating at approx. 150 rpm, the grinder provides effective reduction with low noise, low dust, low HP, and unattended operation.

The Tres Three Head Pallet Dismantler

The Tres is a high volume three headed pallet dismantler capable of quickly and efficiently disassembling a pallet in two easy strokes using a single operator. It is ruggedly constructed, reliable, and low maintenance. The Tres is designed for ease of operator handling allowing easy access to the table for positioning and flipping the pallet for disassembly. The operator touches the pallet only: disassembled components are automatically removed. The Tres yields more pieces per man than any other dismantler on the market.

Sonic Press 2000 Pallet Plater

The Sonic Press is a heavy duty, dual cylinder pallet plater capable of applying a pair of plates to a pallet in 1.2 seconds. The Sonic Press was designed with operator ease of handling in mind. It can be operated from either side of the machine and has a special compact table design to better enable the operator to move around it. The optional ball transfer table can also be added to further increase operator ease of handling.

Roundtable Board Accumulator

The Roundtable is a heavy duty circular board accumulator. It is designed to accumulate deck boards/stringers from any type of conveyor and slowly turn to allow an operator to pick the boards off and sort them into their proper sizes and classifications. The Roundtable is a vital part of any wood recovery system.

Quick Connect Stringer Splicer

The Quick Connect Stringer Splicer is a high speed platter capable of splicing two random length stringers together for future use as a pallet component. The Quick Connect utilizes a 5 HP and fast action dual cylinders that give it a 1.2 second cycle time. It will plate stringers from 5 inches to 48 inches together using 3” x 3” plates.

Hammer Stringer Unstubber

The Hammer Stringer Unstubber is a high speed unit designed to remove nail stubble from both stringers and plugs. It is equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller which measures the stringer with an infrared photo electric eye. The stringer is then automatically aligned on the mechanized roller conveyor and accurately positioned for unstubbing. When the compression cycle is complete and all nail stubble has been pressed down flush with the wood’s surface, the stringer is exhausted from the machine.

1050 Vertical Pallet Washer

The 1050 Vertical Pallet Washer utilizes a manual feed system and the production depends on the operators efficiency. The operator manually loads one pallet onto the conveyor at a time. The Wash Cycle time is determined by the speed the pallets are pushed through the machine. The pallets are manually removed at the discharge side. With additional automation the estimated production output is between 150 and 250 pallets per hour depending on pallet specifics.

5010 Horizontal Pallet Washer

The Horizontal Pallet Washer is a manual conveyor and the production depends on the operator’s efficiency. With the addition of an optional power conveyor the estimated production for a 48 x 48 pallet is 150 per hour and for a 32 x 32 pallet is 250 per hour.

The PalCoat® 600 Series Single Pallet Paint Booth is custom built to paint single pallets at a time, painting first the ends of the pallet & then the sides, at a production rate of 600 pallets per hour. A 90° transfer conveyor is incorporated for the right to left transfer to allow optimal performance. The PalCoat® 600 Series can be integrated with additional options such as our High Speed Destacker, Infrared Drying Oven, Stencil Station & our High Speed Stacker for maximum pallet production.

DeckMate Lead-Board Remover

The DeckMate is a heavy duty pallet prepping machine that hydraulically removes the damaged deckboards. It can be used as a builder table or an inspection transfer table. This highly productive machine requires only one operator to make quality decisions regarding which boards should be removed from the pallet. The DeckMate flexibility allows this unit to be used in numerous line operations.

Deckmaster™ Lead-Board Remover & Nail Depressor

The DeckMaster is a heavy duty lead board remover capable of hydraulically removing deck boards and depressing nail stubble. This highly productive machine places the quality making decisions, regarding which damaged deck boards need to be removed from the pallet, in the hands of one employee. The DeckMaster takes the hammer and prybar out of the builders’ hands which increases quality and productivity and raises morale.

Straight Line Repair

The AMS Straight line repair system is a great way to increase production without changing you're current operation. By adding conveyor infeeds and outfeeds, finished pallets can be automatically delivered to the stacking area without the burdensome task of carrying heavy pallets. The AMS Straight Line Repair system can also be combined with an automatic stacking system able to separately stack different grades of pallets at the touch of a button.

Nailing on The Fly Repair Line

The Nailing on The Fly Repair Line incorporates automated handling equipment to reduce labor cost and increase production. From the time a damaged pallet enters the system until it exits as a repaired product, it never leaves the assembly line. Using our patented Deckmaster to remove damaged boards and stake down the nails makes for a quick and complete prepping time for the builders and puts the decision making in one person’s hands. Builders then become board droppers and training time for new employees is minimized. By using powered conveyor, a flipper and a stacking system with rakes, the backbreaking labor is eliminated, thus reducing workman’s compensation issues.

4 Stacking Sort System

The AMS Hydraulic High Speed 4 Stacking System is ergonomically designed to allow one operator the ability to inspect and sort 500 pallets per hour without the backbreaking job of lifting pallets. Pallets are delivered to a high speed destacker by chain driven live roller conveyor. The destacker will dispense one pallet every 4.5 seconds to an inspection area. The inspection area has flipper arms that stand the pallet up for full inspection down the entire length of the stringers and deckboards. A light fence protects the operator from accidentally being struck by the flipper arm. Once the light beam has been broken, the flipper inspection arm is automatically stopped. Once inspected, the operator depresses a console button directing the pallet to the appropriate high speed stacker. Pallets accumulate in the stackers to the pre-selected stack height and then are dispensed on gravity conveyor for pickup by the fork lift driver. With the optional PalMate ERP software solution, data such as system production, size counts and grade counts can be accumulated and communicated to the general inventory management program.

Ergonomic Pallet Inspection System

The AMS Ergonomic Handling System is designed to address the backbreaking manual labor and workman’s compensation problems our industry faces. This system utilizes a vacuum lift trolley system powered by a direct drive pump. One man can sort and/or inspect 1,200—1,500 pallets in a single 8 hour shift.

Automated Pallet Flipper

The AMS Flipper is an automated pallet handling machine that eliminates the backbreaking labor of turning a pallet over. The photo-eye and relay logic controller assures that the Flipper maintains consistent pallet flow. The Flipper may be integrated in any in-line conveyor pallet system and can handle a pallet every 4.5 seconds.

Tipper Pallet Dispenser III

The Tipper III is an easy to use pallet dispenser that increases productivity. It will dispense pallet stacks up to 20 high quickly and efficiently, and is excellent for feeding lead board removers, pallet dismantlers, and sort & repair systems.

High Speed Pallet Stacker

The High Speed Pallet Stacker is capable of stacking one pallet every 5 seconds. It receives single pallets from any type of in-feed conveyor and stacks the pallet with its heavy duty hydraulic chain hoist guide system. Once the pallets are fully stacked, the stacker automatically discharges the stack of pallets to the out-feed conveyor. The High Speed Pallet Stacker can be integrated into full sort & repair systems for your ready to go pallets or as a stand alone stacker for work station units.

Top & Bottom Repair Line

In the AMS dual level modular sort & repair systems, the pallets are introduced to the repair line by either a Tipper or Destacker and delivered to the builders by chain driven live roller conveyor. Lead boards are removed by a Deckmaster. The pallets are then pulled off to builders tables for the necessary repairs. Once repairs have been made, the pallets are placed on the bottom belt driven live roller conveyor for delivery to a grading station and then on to a stacking system.

Destacker Pallet Dispenser

The Destacker Pallet Dispenser is a high speed, hydraulic pallet dispenser designed to dispense pallets onto an automated line. It is equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that is connected to several infrared photo electric eyes. When the chamber is empty the PLC opens the safety doors and moves single stacks of pallets, via automated conveyor, into the chamber and then dispenses them at specific time intervals onto the out-feed conveyor. The Destacker will accept pallet stacks up to twenty high in various sizes and conditions. The Destacker is the cornerstone of our Automated Sort & Repair Systems.
