Turntable with Powered Dual Chain Conveyor

The AMS Turntable with Powered Dual Chain Conveyor can be used in a variety of applications, however, it is typically used in automated paint and stencil systems where stacks of 10 to 19 pallets are rotated while being either painted or stenciled. Triple-Function Stacker & Dispenser

Hilo Bumper Stops

Strut System & Tool Balancers

Strut System

The strut system allows tools and balancers to be suspended directly above work areas to create an ergonomically friendly work environment. Solid struts held up by trolley beam supports provide a track for load trolleys to easily move tools throughout the work area and reducing fatigue on workers.

Tool Balancers

AMS offers heavy duty tool balancers that ergonomically help workers to stay on task and tire less quickly. The balancers allow the worker to move the suspended tool up or down with very little effort. Depending on the spring adjustment, the tool will remain in position or retract when no force is applied. With a spiral groove on a tapered drum, the winding radius is increased to match the torque buildup of the spring, thus neutralizing it and achieving a balanced condition.

The Builders Table

Hydraulic Scissor Lift Table

AMS HLT heavy duty scissor lift tables are designed and constructed for heavy duty application under the toughest working conditions, offering years of trouble free operation. The Brute Portable Grinder

The Brute is a heavy duty grinder with extra wide throat, large diameter shaft and bearings. Hammer Stringer Unstubber

The Hammer Stringer Unstubber is a high speed unit designed to remove nail stubble from both stringers and plugs. It is equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller which measures the stringer with an infrared photo electric eye. The stringer is then automatically aligned on the mechanized roller conveyor and accurately positioned for unstubbing. When the compression cycle is complete and all nail stubble has been pressed down flush with the wood’s surface, the stringer is exhausted from the machine.

1050 Vertical Pallet Washer

Straight Line Repair

    Nailing on The Fly Repair Line

    The Nailing on The Fly Repair Line incorporates automated handling equipment to reduce labor cost and increase production. From the time a damaged pallet enters the system until it exits as a repaired product, it never leaves the assembly line. Using our patented Deckmaster to remove damaged boards and stake down the nails makes for a quick and complete prepping time for the builders and puts the decision making in one person’s hands. Builders then become board droppers and training time for new employees is minimized. By using powered conveyor, a flipper and a stacking system with rakes, the backbreaking labor is eliminated, thus reducing workman’s compensation issues.

    4 Stacking Sort System

    The AMS Hydraulic High Speed 4 Stacking System is ergonomically designed to allow one operator the ability to inspect and sort 500 pallets per hour without the backbreaking job of lifting pallets. Pallets are delivered to a high speed destacker by chain driven live roller conveyor. The destacker will dispense one pallet every 4.5 seconds to an inspection area. The inspection area has flipper arms that stand the pallet up for full inspection down the entire length of the stringers and deckboards. A light fence protects the operator from accidentally being struck by the flipper arm. Once the light beam has been broken, the flipper inspection arm is automatically stopped. Once inspected, the operator depresses a console button directing the pallet to the appropriate high speed stacker. Pallets accumulate in the stackers to the pre-selected stack height and then are dispensed on gravity conveyor for pickup by the fork lift driver. With the optional PalMate ERP software solution, data such as system production, size counts and grade counts can be accumulated and communicated to the general inventory management program.

    High Speed Pallet Stacker

    The High Speed Pallet Stacker is capable of stacking one pallet every 5 seconds.     Top & Bottom Repair Line

    In the AMS dual level modular sort & repair systems, the pallets are introduced to the repair line by either a Tipper or Destacker and delivered to the builders by chain driven live roller conveyor. Lead boards are removed by a Deckmaster. The pallets are then pulled off to builders tables for the necessary repairs. Once repairs have been made, the pallets are placed on the bottom belt driven live roller conveyor for delivery to a grading station and then on to a stacking system.

    Destacker Pallet Dispenser

    The Destacker Pallet Dispenser is a high speed, hydraulic pallet dispenser designed to dispense pallets onto an automated line. It is equipped with a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) that is connected to several infrared photo electric eyes. When the chamber is empty the PLC opens the safety doors and moves single stacks of pallets, via automated conveyor, into the chamber and then dispenses them at specific time intervals onto the out-feed conveyor. The Destacker will accept pallet stacks up to twenty high in various sizes and conditions. The Destacker is the cornerstone of our Automated Sort & Repair Systems.
